How is this a public school system ?

     By : Chris Selley , how would is this a public school system is an article about public schools full of rich kids raise more money from parents than public schools full of poor kids.Among the city's public schools were talking about the differences of up to $500 and even $1.000 per student during the 2008-09 school year .

    Parental donations and distributing them evenly but even that's hard to ask of them . The most of 20% of the schools raise less than 1/3 of the funds that  the least of 20% of schools raise . The top 10 fundraisers brought in$515 per student and got 8.75 out of 10 and the bottom 10 fund raised $17 per student an averaged a 5.3 . People have always debated the importance of social differences ,but nobody denies the importance of education

          I think that it is wrong , even if there are rich students in a public school it doesn't mean that the other public school with less money wouldn't be able to raise the same money . Rich  schools can get new things for example computers ,jerseys ,and new equipment and so could a school with less money they just need to earn more money and they will get the chance to have those thing too. I know that my school we are not the rich but we can a ford to buy thing like as the rich people at a public school like. Text books when we are low ,equipment,computers and jerseys we can get those same things even if we aren't rich like other schools.. we are able to get those things by have fundraisers . Like the time we went to Ottawa we had a fundraiser for Valentines day heart shaped lollipops saved us money so we wouldn't have to pay a lot .

         But the one thing i know is that you shouldn't have to pay an extra dime to have the educations that everyone needs in life fun raising just helps you so that you can pay less .
        

Would e-learning work in elementary ?

    Yes, it would be easier to have e-learning in elementary school because if you are away from the country you could easily do your assignment off the internet .you could do the work anywhere as long as you had a computer near by. Even if you didn't have a computer in the country that you are in you could do it when you arrive back home because it's off the internet .

     Over the summer i saw that my sister had e-class on the internet .she took e-class instead of having to go to summer school. She had time to go out and have some fun by the time she arrived home she would just go on the computer and do her assignment . So in her case she would have rather taken e-class then having to summer school . She learned that it would help in her life by being independent and not having to depend on her teachers , she would be able to finish her school work . It also taught her to be on her own and I saw that over the summer to grow up .

     so e-learning would work in elementary school because of these reasons 1. it is easier to access it from the computer if your out of the country 2. if you forget your homework you could show your teachers you did do it using e-learning instead of having to get in trouble by a teacher 3. you become more mature and independent as you grow up . Those are the reasons it would work in elementary school
